About Us
Founded by an Adjunct Professor of Northeastern University, the Boston Biotechnical Institute offers quality instruction in Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with corresponding laboratory instruction. Conveniently located in Watertown, MA, on the premises of ViroGen Corporation, the Boston Biotechnology Institute is opening its doors September 2009.
Our Mission
We strive to provide highest level of instruction in biotechnology related fields to individuals seeking to improve their background knowledge and acquire basic laboratory skills needed in today's market.
What we offer
What: Biochemistry course with laboratory practical.
When: Classes and the lab start September 2009.
Two hours of lecture and two hours of lab work per week for 10 weeks. Classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 7 pm.
We teach background knowledge in Biochemistry with accompanying laboratory which includes basic DNA manipulation, cloning, PCR, protein expression and purification.
Cost $2,000 for the lecture and the lab plus $500 laboratory supplies fee.
Enrollment starts now. Classes limited to ten participants. Prerequisite is basic knowledge in general Biology.

Directions
 Parking is behind the 200 Dexter Avenue building. The Institute is also accessible by public transportation. Take bus 71 from Harvard Square or bus 70 from Central Square.
